Coconut, Chamomile + Mango Vegan Milkshake

Coconut, Chamomile Mango Vegan Milkshake

When I came across this recipe, my jaw dropped. How good does that flavor combination sound?! I was at Whole Foods this past weekend and I figured I might as well try out this recipe since the mangos looked way too good to pass up. Literally every single one was ripe and ready to eat. I love finding recipes like this that are perfect for warm days, and this one makes for a delicious sweet treat. Find out how to make the best spring indulgence below!

Coconut Chamomile Mango Vegan Milkshake

1 frozen banana

1/3 cup coconut cream

1 mango

1 chamomile tea bag

4 ice cubes

A few dashes of vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Bring about 1/4 cup filtered water to a boil and steep the chamomile tea bag for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and set the tea aside in the fridge to chill.

To get 1/3 cup coconut cream, refrigerate a can of coconut milk until it is fully chilled. This will allow all of the liquid to sink to the bottom, leaving the coconut cream on top. Open the can and scoop enough out from the top.

Place the chilled tea, coconut cream, and all other ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth.

I was curious about the taste of chamomile in this milkshake, but it really mixes well with all of the other ingredients. It holds back some of the flavor of the coconut and mango, leaving the perfect amount of sweetness.

Enjoy!
