Makeup Must Haves.

I’ve come to realise that I have quite a few staples in my dressing table, the products I reach for without giving it another thought. As always, most of these are pretty obvious but a few you may not have expected…

First up, I have to give a little mention to the Revlon PhotoReady Illuminator in Bare Light (£11.99) – just how often do I talk about this stuff? I just adore it. As it leans towards more of a skin tone hue, it really blends in to the skin perfectly – this, combined with the subtle illumination it gives, completely perfects the complexion for a really even result. You need.
Also here is the By Terry Touche Veloutee (£35) this is, hands down, the best highlighter I’ve ever tried. It really gives eyes the most bright, awakened look while also helping to sculpt and highlight the face. I sweep it on everywhere and it works like a dream. I actually need to repurchase, and you betcha I will.

My base of choice has to be the Liz Earle Signature Foundation (£21), I talk about this stuff all the time but I honestly don’t think there’s a better foundation out there. It’s super affordable, looks natural yet perfecting on the skin and lasts SO well once applied. Even in heat, this doesn’t budge. I really, really rate it.
I also included the Jurlique Rose Silk Finishing Powder (£24.50, I think this is the most amazing finishing powder – especially for the price. It really refines the texture of the skin, so pores are almost invisible and makeup sets in place for the entire day. It’s just amazing in every way, and it’s Jurlique so you can guarantee it’s all lovely ingredients.

I had to squeeze in some of my beloved NARS picks, including the Deep Throat Blush (£22.50) – I think this is probably my favourite NARS blusher, although Orgasm probably shares that first position if I’m honest. Deep Throat is a little more played down, it’s not as vibrant yet still translates as the perfect peachy pink on the skin.
I also included the NARS Narsissist Palette, which is probably sold out everywhere now but all the included shadows are from the main collection so in theory, what I mean is that you need NARS eyeshadows in your life. I use this every single day, I adore the quality and shade selection – they’re the best ever combination!
