Denim Love.

One of the items I enjoy wearing the most is denim jeans. They’re the one piece of clothing that I get a kick out of when I score the ‘right’ pair. I mean, let’s face it… finding the perfect pair of skinny, boyfriend, or distressed jeans can be a difficult task. They’re so many details you have to look out for like fit, wash, detail, style, fabric, length, and comfort that it feels overwhelming when you’re in that tiny fitting room.

For me, it’s all about the fit and wash. I don’t buy jeans just to buy, I take my time until i find the right one(s). It usually does take me awhile before I find a good pair but I’ve learned to be patient and hunt down certain key stores, which is always the fun part.

With my patience and what I like to call good eye, I’ve picked up a few pairs that have become my personal favorites as of late. Some of my favorite brands like PAIGE, J BRAND, Citizens of Humanity and AG Adriano Goldschmied jeans are always the easiest to find at one of my go-to department stores, Nordstrom. It’s a one-stop shop that I know I can always rely on for the most on-trend pieces while receiving the best customer service. It’s convenient for me to find what I’m looking for when they carry some of the best (denim) brands under one roof, yes! I recently took a little shopping trip there to check out the latest jeans while splurging on a couple of jeans for myself since fall season is around the corner!

I went with a pair of J Brand distressed crop skinny jeans; a must-have in everyone’s wardrobe. They look so cool with a button up and pumps- kinda effortlessly sexy! I decided, however, to take the non-sexy route and pair my jeans with cut-out oxfords! It was the perfect look for a busy day at the office, attending two meetings and having a fun lunch with my team! The ripped holes add the effortless look that I always look for in certain pieces.
